How to Join
Thanks to the LEGION Act (Let Everyone Get Involved In Opportunities for National Service Act), Congress expanded the current eligibility period to cover Dec. 7, 1941, to the present, and includes the current war campaigns. Previously, there were seven declared war periods. Now there are two, the current war period dating back to World War II and another war era covering World War I. Annual Dues are only $40. American Legion Auxiliary
How to Join
The Auxiliary's membership is more than 600,000 strong with more than 8,000 units in communities nationwide. Auxiliary membership includes grandmothers, mothers, sisters, spouses, and direct and adopted female descendants of veterans eligible for American Legion membership. Annual Dues are only $40. Sons of the American Legion
How to Join
S.A.L. members include males of all ages whose parents or grandparents served in the U.S. military and were eligible for American Legion membership. Annual Dues are only $25. Click to see more information about the Sons of the American Legion
